That’s where the number on the pin comes from. It counts people who said fragranced products make them unwell, not diagnoses.
What it means
Worn on a bag or a lanyard, or used as a profile picture, the pin says two things. I’m fragrance-free. And if scent gets to you too, you’re one of us. It isn’t a medical alert and it doesn’t demand anything from anyone. It helps people who react to fragrance find each other, and the more of us who show up, the harder it gets for the fragrance industry to sell scent as normal.
